Accessibility statement

carat Immobilien GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG). Our benchmark is conformity with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

Compliance status

This website was developed with the goal of WCAG 2.1 AA conformity and is tested continuously, both automatically and manually. It is largely compliant with these requirements; known exceptions are listed below.

Measures taken

  • Semantically structured HTML with a consistent heading hierarchy and landmarks,
  • full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator (navigation, filters, image gallery, forms),
  • sufficient colour contrast in line with WCAG AA,
  • alternative text for informative images,
  • forms with programmatically associated labels and error messages,
  • animations respect the "reduce motion" system setting,
  • content remains usable with text resizing and zoom up to 200 %.

Known limitations

  • PDF exposés: the property exposés offered for download are partly produced externally and may not be fully accessible (e.g. missing document tags or alternative text). On request we will gladly provide the essential information in an accessible form.
  • Google Maps: the optionally loaded map on the contact page is third-party content whose accessibility we cannot influence. The address is always available as plain text.
  • 360° tour: the optionally loaded tour on individual project pages is embedded from zima.at and is third-party content whose accessibility we cannot influence. The project information is available regardless as text, images and floor plans on the same page.
